The barleycorn pit cloth

A design with history: The dark and sinister design of this towel has a very specific reason: These black pit towels were once used in mining. The miners used the cloth to dry themselves during their daily washing. Due to the dark colors, the black coal dirt was not immediately visible. Nowadays, it is impossible to imagine a household without this classic. Chefs appreciate the cloth because it is extremely robust and highly absorbent.

The kitchen towel is available in 3 colors. Black as the basic shade and combined with natural, white or gray. The so-called red "reminder stripe" in the frame is of course a must.
