Shipping & Delivery

1. How high are the cash on delivery charges?

   For cash on delivery shipments in Austria an additional fee of € 3.50 will be charged directly by the post office.
   For deliveries to Germany, bedandroom will charge an additional € 4.00. Please note: when the goods are handed over, € 2.00 will also be charged by the post office (this means additional costs of € 6.00).

   Cash on delivery to other countries is not possible.

   Please note that the maximum amount for cash on delivery shipments may not exceed € 1,500.

2. Is delivery to a Packstation possible?

   Yes, we also deliver to packing stations. Please simply enter the postal number and the number of the packing station in the address.

3. How high are the shipping costs?

   bedandroom delivers free shipping to Austria and Germany from an order value of € 150.
   Up to € 150,- the shipping costs are € 11 to Germany and € 11 to Austria.
   
   For deliveries to Switzerland we charge € 55,- (excl. VAT) shipping costs.
   From an order amount of € 300,- we deliver free of shipping costs.
   Please note that we only charge the net amount (excl. VAT) plus any shipping costs.
   
   In Switzerland, however, your purchase is subject to customs duty and VAT!
   Upon receipt of the product, customs duties, VAT and any other charges must be paid to the shipping service provider against a separate invoice.
   
   Deliveries to Switzerland are duty-free up to a total amount of CHF 62.50.
   The total amount is always calculated from the value of the goods and the shipping costs.
   (Even if we do not charge shipping costs for goods worth € 300 or more, Swiss Post will still charge a flat rate of CHF 17 for shipping costs, as services are also subject to customs duty and VAT).
   
   If the total amount exceeds CHF 62.50, a customs clearance fee is due, which is calculated from a flat rate of CHF 12 + 3% of the total amount (value of goods + shipping costs).
   The maximum amount for customs clearance is CHF 70.
   
   The Swiss VAT of 8% is applied to the total amount of the value of the goods, shipping costs and customs duty and is due upon importation into Switzerland.
   We recommend that you inform yourself about the import regulations and any costs incurred in order to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
   
   Shipments to the rest of the world are charged differently. You will find detailed information in your shopping cart. There you can select the shipping country and calculate the shipping costs.
   
   For bulky shipments (e.g. mattresses) we reserve the right to charge an additional € 25.00 in shipping costs. However, we would inform you of this before shipping.
   
   For uncollected parcels, bedandroom reserves the right to charge € 15 for the costs incurred

4. What do I have to do if my delivery address changes?

   Simply change your address under "My account" and save the new address.

5. Is it possible to order free of shipping costs?

   All orders with a shopping cart value of from € 150,- are delivered free of shipping costs within Austria and Germany.

6. Is express delivery available?

   We will be happy to organize express delivery for you. Simply contact our service team!

7. What if I'm not at home?

   If you are generally difficult to reach at home, we offer you the option of having your order delivered to a different delivery address (e.g. to your place of work).

   If the parcel could not be delivered on the first delivery attempt, another delivery attempt will be made or you will receive a notification that your parcel has been deposited at the nearest post office.

8. How long does the delivery take?

   If the items are in stock, the delivery time for Austria and Germany is usually 2 - 3 working days.
