Eider down is a precious and very valuable natural product. It comes from the Icelandic eider duck, which lines its nest with its finest down flakes to protect it from the icy cold. The down can only be carefully removed from the nests after the breeding season.

The fine down of the eider duck provides excellent warmth. This is due to the many tiny barbed threads of the eider down, which are interlinked to provide unique warmth retention and insulation. At the same time, the comforter is extremely light. It therefore offers fantastic, luxurious sleeping comfort in a class of its own.

The down is covered with a very fine eiderdown batiste made from 100% supercombed cotton. The comforter also has a double decorative seam and a 1 cm inner seam.
